Tony Gonzalez Signs One-Year Contract Extension With Falcons

According to a report by Jay Glazer, Tony Gonzalez has signed a one-year contract extension with the Atlanta Falcons worth $7 million.

NFL reporter Jay Glazer is reporting that Falcons tight end Tony Gonzalez has decided that he wants to play one more season in the NFL and signed a one-year contract extension worth $7 million on Saturday.

Gonzalez has flirted with retirement in the past and his return is good news for the Falcons. Gonzalez has been a reliable target for Matt Ryan this season with 79 catches for 867 yards and seven touchdowns entering Sunday's regular season finale.
