Several Atlanta Falcons team records will be in reach today when the Falcons take on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the regular season finale. Matt Ryan is well on his way to becoming the best quarterback to ever wear a Falcons uniform and can wipe one player most fans would like to forget about.
Ryan needs just 73 passing yards to set a new franchise record for passing yards eclipsing Jeff George's mark that was set in 1995. Ryan is also within striking distance of franchise records for completions, attempts and quarterback rating.
Wide receiver Roddy White needs just 45 yards to surpass Terance Mathis and become the franchise's all-time leading receiver. White is also just four catches away from posting his second 100-catch season. Michael Turner needs just one touchdown to break his tie with Gerald Riggs to become the franchise's all-time leader in rushing touchdowns. Julio Jones is also nine catches away and one touchdown shy of setting Falcons' rookie records.
