John Abraham Wants To Be An Atlanta Falcon

Atlanta Falcons defensive end John Abraham believes he is bound for free agency after speaking with team, but Abraham does want to be a Falcon.Abraham's agent Rich Rosa is meeting with the Falcons this Saturday or Sunday in what is being called "do or die" negotiations.

Abraham joined the "2 Live Stews" radio show on 790 The Zone on Wednesday and talked about how he wants to be paid fairly:

"I'm not a money chaser, but at the same time I'm expecting to get paid like everybody else is getting paid. ..."

"... I made eight million last year. Everybody is saying, 'Oh, he's so greedy.' How am I greedy when I'm just trying to get paid the same thing they are getting paid? There are guys out there getting more money than me, but my production is the same as theirs or at least close."

Numbers between the two sides have not been mentioned, but Abraham is looking for $10 million per year.

If the two sides can not come to an agreement, Abraham will be a free agent on March 13.
