The familiar trio of Al Michaels, Cris Collinsworth and Michele Tafoya will handle broadcast duties for NBC's coverage of Super Bowl XLVI between the New England Patriots and the New York Giants. Michaels will handle the play-by-play duties with Collinsworth serving as the color man. Tafoya will be the lone on field reporter for the game.
Pregame coverage begins early Sunday morning starting with NFL Networks "GameDay Morning" pregame show at 9am. ESPN's pregame coverage will begin at 10am with "Sunday NFL Countdown" while NBC will begin its broadcast with a "Road to the Super Bowl" program starting at 12pm.
The Super Bowl will also be streamed live online for free at NFL.com and NBCSports.com. The online feed will provide additional camera angles and live in-game stats to its broadcast.
