The Atlanta Falcons may have some difficulty resigning wide receiver and return specialist Eric Weems, according to a report from Zach Klein.
As seen in the NFC Championship game with the New York Giants and San Francisco 49ers, reliable return men are not always easy to come by, and even though Weems only took it to the house twice in 2011, there may not be any better options for the Falcons.
"Not sure who would return punts/kickoff, but league source tells me #Falcons will have a "tough" time resigning Eric Weems." - Zack Klein
The Falcons have a difficult enough situation happening on the defensive side of the ball, as three starters (John Abraham, Curtis Lofton and Todd McClure) have become free agents and could command high dollars.
Weems has spent four of his NFL season as a member of the Falcons, playing in 54 games since 2008.
