Falcons reached agreement with DE John Abraham on a three-year deal.

Abraham is one of the Falcons' most coveted players and their best on defense. He recorded 35 tackles in 2011 and 9.5 sacks in 15 games. Abraham did not have quite as productive of a season in 2011 as he did the year before, but the likelihood of Atlanta landing another defensive end of his caliber is slim. Abraham, at 34-years-old still has 22.5 sacks over the last two seasons.
There were reports form the NFL Network on Abraham drawing interest from the Tennessee Titans and the Denver Broncos, but clearly the Falcons were in front to keep him.
