According to the Atlanta Falcons' official website's Joe Adams, the Falcons brought back two linemen on Friday: long snapper Joe Zelenka and defensive tackle Vance Walker. Zelenka was re-signed as an unrestricted free agent while Walker signed his restricted free agent tender.
Zelenka, who came into the league as an undrafted free agent in 1999 and has been with the 49ers, Redskins and Jaguars before he was picked up by the Falcons in 2009. Over the last three seasons, Zelenka has been an integral part of the kicking game and helped kicker Matt Bryant make a franchise record 30 consecutive field goals between 2010 and 2011.
Walker was selected by the Falcons in the seventh round of the 2009 draft. He has played in all 16 games over the past two seasons and in his three-year career, he has racked up 47 tackles and sacked the opposing quarterback twice.
