Falcons Free Agency: Todd McClure Will Return To Atlanta In 2012

The Atlanta Falcons are gearing up for the 2012 football season. They're in the thick of the free agency season and preparing for the 2012 NFL Draft next month. They're trying to field the best possible team in the fall and are attempting to lock up their key returning contributors.

Jay Adams at the official Atlanta Falcons website reports that the Falcons have agreed to terms with center Todd McClure. McClure is the longest tenured player on the team, having been with the Falcons since being selected in the seventh round of the 1999 NFL Draft. He has been performing the majority of the snaps for the entirety of quarterback Matt Ryan's professional career and will continue to do so for at least one more season.
