Georgia Tech wide receiver Stephen Hill has been drafted by the New York Jets in the second round of the 2012 NFL Draft. The Yellow Jackets' wideout completed his journey from no-name sleeper to 2nd round pick after a career in Atlanta defined first and foremost by blocking in head coach Paul Johnson's triple option offense. Compared to other top draft picks at wide receiver, Hill had a meager 820 yards receiving on 28 catches in 2011, but his raw power, size and blazing speed made him a coveted pick.
The Jets took hill to add another weapon to their offense for quarterback Matt Sanchez.
