With the No. 91 overall pick in the 2012 NFL Draft, the Atlanta Falcons select Lamar Holmes, offensive tackle from Southern Miss. Holmes is a huge offensive tackle from who weighs 320 pounds but even at that size he is athletic.
Holmes continued to improve his technique throughout his career and looked like very much like a NFL player during his senior season. With this pick the Falcons took their second offensive lineman of the draft, and this is no surprise since the Falcons are looking to strengthen their line to protect Matt Ryan.
The Falcon's next pick comes at No. 157 overall.
