Atlanta Falcons Draft Picks 2012: Falcons Hold Four Picks On Saturday

The Atlanta Falcons and their fans can now see first-hand the cost of Julio Jones. So far, the Falcons have made just two selections in the 2012 NFL Draft -- at No. 55 and 91 overall. In addition to being without a first round pick this year, the Falcons are also without a fourth rounder, and won't make a selection on Saturday until the fifth round of the draft.

So far, the Falcons have opted to bolster the offensive line. With the No. 55 pick in the draft, the Falcons selected center Peter Konz from Wisconsin, who many believe will start immediately for Atlanta. Thomas Dimitroff used his third round selection on Lamar Holmes, an offensive tackle from Southern Miss.

Though they're not the flashiest of picks, games are often won and lost in the trenches, and the Falcons have upgraded themselves there in the draft.

Here's a breakdown of Atlanta's picks in the 2012 NFL Draft:

Round 2, Pick 23 (55): Peter Konz, C, Wisconsin
Round 3, Pick 28 (91): Lamar Holmes, OT, Southern Miss
Round 5, Pick 22 (157)
Round 5, Pick 29 (164)
Round 6, Pick 22 (192)
Round 7, Pick 42 (249)
