2012 NFL Draft: Georgia State DE Christo Bilukidi To Oakland Raiders

Georgia State's football program will be entering its third year of play in 2012, but at least one Panther will be getting a shot in the NFL this year. The Oakland Raiders drafted defensive tackle/end Christo Bilukidi in the sixth round with the 189th overall pick.

Bilukidi was born in Angola and grew up in Ottawa, Canada, playing only one year of prep football. The 6-foot-5, 290 pounder has played both end and tackle in Georgia State's 4-2-5 Virginia Tech-style scheme, and holds the school record for sacks with 10 over his two years of play there, along with nine tackles-for-loss last season.

Bilukidi was listed as a Top 15 Canadian Football League prospect after his junior season. During pre-draft workouts, he visited with the Bengals, Falcons and Patriots in addition to Oakland.
