With the No. 192nd pick in the 2012 NFL Draft, the Atlanta Falcons have selected Charles Mitchell, a strong safety out of Mississippi State. Mitchell played in every single game during his career at Mississippi State, and was a three-year starter.
Strengths of Mitchell are that he is a strong player in stopping the run and in his senior season he had 95 total tackles including three for a loss and a sack. Mitchell is also considered a smart player who is always in position to make a play, excels in zone coverage and he has good tackling skills and rarely lets a player get past him.
The Falcon's next pick comes at No. 249.
