2013 NFL Mock Draft: Falcons Select Arkansas Running Back Knile Davis

If Bobby Petrino never actually did a thing for the Atlanta Falcons, maybe call it even if they land Knile Davis in next year's draft? That's what Mocking the Draft has going down in 2013, with Atlanta making the 24th overall pick. Not to say that Michael Turner hasn't played well over the years, but at that position, it's hardly ever to early to bring in some new blood and start looking ahead.

The 6-1, 226-pound running back out of Missouri City, Texas had a breakout season in 2010 when he rushed for 1,322 yards and scored 13 touchdowns. But he was sidelined for all of the 2011 season with an ankle injury and is slowly working his way back into the swing of things this spring. Davis should be ready to go by the time the 2013 combine and draft roll around, but his health issues have to at least be somewhat of a concern, even considering his upside.
