Falcons Rookie Camp: Travian Robertson, Charles Mitchell Drawing Praise

Rookie minicamp is an opportunity for many players to make a name for themselves and to get noticed by the coaching staff. All of those players in camp are looking for an opportunity and defensive tackle Travian Robertson along with Charles Mitchell drew praise from Falcons' head coach Mike Smith following Day 2 of camp.

"Travian is a big, strong defensive tackle. He's more of an anchor point that a move guy. When we were doing our due dillgence in the draft, it's quite apparent that he was strong. You can see that strength not only in the weight room, but also out there on the field."

"Mitchell the safety has done a nice guy. He's probably the guy that's had the toughest experience in the secondary guys because we've thrown a lot at him. He's done a very nice job. I like his movement. First impressions have been very positive for the entire draft class."

Robertson could be an option to help provide some depth in the middle of Atlanta's defensive line. Mitchell had the lone interception of the full-team drills on Saturday.
