Seeing extended action during the preseason, Atlanta Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan has lived up to his incumbent status as the Falcons' starting QB, completed 27 of 34 passes for 329 yards and two touchdowns in two games.
Ryan and the Falcons now turn their attention to the Miami Dolphins, who will host the Falcons on Friday at 7:30 p.m. Looking to continue his strong start, Ryan will lead in what will be a dress rehearsal for their season opener, according to the Atlanta Journal Constitution.
The Falcons have lost seven straight preseason games overall, but the Falcons have seen bright spots around the field. Against the Bengals last week, defensive line pressure was a key against Cincinnati quarterback Andy Dalton, who was sacked once. Pressure came from defensive end Ray Edwards and defensive tackle Peria Jerry, who recorded the sack.
Wide receiver Roddy White caught four passes against the Bengals for 54 yards and will look to continue to contribute against the Dolphins, who have dropped their first two preseason contests and have yet to name a starting quarterback for the season.
