The Atlanta Falcons are favored to defeat the Carolina Panthers on Sunday. The Falcons opened as six-point favorites, but the line has since moved, making the Atlanta anywhere from a seven- to an eight-point favorite at various sportsbooks.

The Falcons are off to a 3-0 start in 2012, which includes wins over the Denver Broncos and the previously-undefeated San Diego Chargers. Quarterback Matt Ryan has led the charge with eight touchdown passes and a completion percentage over 70.0. His passer rating is by far the best of his career so far.
The Panthers, meanwhile, have stumbled to a 1-2 start, their lone win coming at home over the New Orleans Saints. With the exception of that win, Carolina's offense has had trouble gaining traction. Quarterback Cam Newton has thrown for nearly 800 yards this season, but he has also thrown five interceptions against just two touchdowns.
