Atlanta Hawks Vs. Memphis Grizzlies: Hawks 15, Grizzlies 10; Al Horford In Foul Trouble, Zach Randolph Hurt

It took a few times down the floor, but the Atlanta Hawks seemed to be settling into coach Larry Drew's motion offense, scoring seven unanswered points after the Memphis Grizzlies took a 6-2 lead.

But things weren't all good on Beale Street.  Al Horford picked up two quick fouls, with the second one taking out Zach Randolph.   Randolph got up off of the floor and nailed a couple of free throws to cut the Atlanta lead to one, but headed to the Memphis locker room with 7:16 left in the first quarter.

But Horford's absence didn't hamper Atlanta.  Coach Drew throws in Zaza Pachulia, who scores a bucket to give the Hawks a four-point lead and force a timeout in Memphis. No timeout can stop the Hawks, who are 7-for-11 in the first quarter.  Pachulia answers with another bucket to reestablish the five-point Atlanta edge.

Mike Bibby is the high scorer for the Hawks, scoring seven of Atlanta's first points in this one.  Josh Smith already has a swat.
