Josh Smith just caught the ball, pulled up, and took an ill-advised jumpshot, sending the crowd toward the exits. It sounds familiar, but this time, Josh sank the jumper, sent the lead to a game-high 20 points, and the home crowd is beginning to file out in frustration.
The Hawks’ offense does have their expected turnover difficulties, with 15 so far, but their shooting has been very efficient, at 54% on the game, 8-15 from three, and 27-30 from the free throw line. Love to see the Hawks scoring from the free throw line-it’s an important tool that has been under-utilized by past Hawks’ teams.
