Atlanta Hawks At Philadelphia 76ers Update: Unimpressive Hawks' Line-ups, Don't Matter

The Hawks played several minutes with Josh at small forward with Powell and Pachuila on the front line. That’s just a weird choice-I know that Mo Evans is out and we need to find minutes at the small forward spot while Marvin is on the bench, but I’m not too excited about that grouping. I wouldn’t mind if Josh Smith played some minutes at te SF this season so that Horford and Zaza can get on the floor together (where they’ve been really good in the past). Putting Josh Smith in a position where his weadknesses are exacerbated and his strengths minimized in order to run more plays for Josh Powell (as seems the goal) can’t be a good idea.

It doesn’t really matter, as the Hawks have stretched the lead out to 10 at 50-40. Andre Iguodala is the only reason the game is reasonably close as he takes advantage of Josh Smith’s inability to guard him.
