Once again, this Atlanta Hawks team is doing what it does best: run. Atlanta poured in 29 points in the second quarter to take a ten-point lead into the break. Al Horford, who had 13 in the first, missed his only attempt in the next 12 minutes and spent most of it on the bench.
Jamal Crawford came off the bench to pour in 12 points (seven on free throws), while Joe Johnson quietly has a dozen. Once again, the Hawks are bringing a balanced attacked to this one. Each of the starting five has at least five points. Crawford has five assists, while Bibby just seems to be able to find Johnson in his "sweet spot" and has four assists on the night.
Andre Iguodala has had his way with the Hawks, posting a game-high 17 points on 6-of-10 shooting, while Elton Brand has chipped in 12 for the Sixers.
