Josh Smith was on a roll for the Atlanta Hawks, blocking shot after shot in the third quarter of the team's Friday night matchup against the Philadelphia 76ers. But that all came to a screeching halt with 7:26 left in the third period. Smith swatted away Jrue Holliday's shot and scrambled for the rebound, but appeared to twist his ankle on the play.
J-Smoove tried to walk off the injury, but ended up alongside the Atlanta bench. He was replaced by Jamal Crawford.
Smith was on track to possibly get a triple-double in this one. He had nine points, seven rebounds and five blocks in 23 minutes of action. It is unknown whether Smith will return to this one or if he will be a spectator. Atlanta leads Philadelphia, 72-62, with 4:00 left in the third.
