Atlanta Hawks Trading Free Tickets For Blood

↵

Diehard fans often say that they bleed the color of their team.  Well, the Atlanta Hawks have figured out a way for their fans to bleed red for their team for -- and for a good cause, too.

The Hawks have partnered with the American Red Cross to help "Raise the Red" with a blood drive on Monday at Lenox Square Mall.  The first 300 fans who donate their blood will receive an Atlanta Hawks ticket voucher, which is good for a free Hawks ticket.  If you're lucky enough to be one of the first 250 to bleed red for the Hawks, you will also get a coupon for a free Chick-fil-A sandwich with the purchase of a large drink.

The blood drive will take place at Atlanta's signature mall from on Nov. 29 from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.  Atlanta Hawks center Jason Collins will make an appearance at the drive from 2:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.  Team flagship station 99X (97.9 FM) and Chick-fil-A are also sponsors of the blood drive, which will help the Red Cross win the battle to keep the metro area's blood bank full.
