Atlanta Hawks Vs. Utah Jazz Final Score: 110-87 Win Ends Road Trip On A High Note

Salt Lake City, UT (Sports Network) – Joe Johnson made a season-high five three-pointers en route to 28 points, as the Atlanta Hawks dominated the Utah Jazz, 110-87, at EnergySolutions Arena.

Jamal Crawford added 26 points and six rebounds off the bench for the Hawks, who finished a four-game road trip with a 3-1 mark. Al Horford donated 18 points and eight boards in the victory.

Deron Williams tallied 19 points and nine assists for the Jazz, who ended a three-game homestand with a 1-2 record. Andrei Kirilenko scored 19 points and pulled down six rebounds.

Utah was without forward Paul Millsap (hip) and center Mehmet Okur (lower back strain).

With the score tied at 3-3 early on, Atlanta took control with a 17-3 run. Josh Smith, Johnson and Crawford each made three-pointers during the surge to build a 20-6 lead with 5:18 to go.

The Hawks scored the final six points of the first quarter for a 30-17 margin.

A tight second period ended with Crawford making a half-court shot at the buzzer for a 55-41 lead.

Holding a 72-62 edge with under 4 1/2 minutes to go in the third, Atlanta put together a 9-2 flurry. Maurice Evans and Crawford each made three-pointers during the run that Smith capped with a three-point play for an 81-64 lead.

The Hawks took an 86-69 advantage into the fourth and never looked back.

The Jazz beat the Hawks, 90-86, on November 12…Atlanta made 50.6 percent of its shots, while Utah shot 39.4 percent from the field…The Hawks made 14- of-25 three-pointers, while the Jazz went 7-of-14 from beyond the arc…Evans had 13 points off the bench…Al Jefferson ended with 13 points and seven rebounds for Utah.
