Angel McCoughtry set a WNBA Finals record by scoring 19 of her 25 points in the third quarter but the Minnesota Lynx rallied to tie things up at 62-62 after three quarters of play. McCoughtry has made 9 of 16 shots in the game to go along with four rebounds and two steals.
Despite McCoughtry's heroics, the Lynx outscored the Dream 26-22 in the period. Rebekkah Brunson has 18 points and nine rebounds for the Lynx who now have a 33-21 edge in rebounding. Seimone Augustus has 16 points and five assists for Minnesota.
For Atlanta, Lindsey Harding has 18 points and five assists and has played well in her match up with Linday Whalen. Iziane Castro Marques went scoreless for Atlanta in the third and has 10 points in the game.
