Bobcats Vs. Hawks: Atlanta Hosts Charlotte In Preseason Finale

The Atlanta Hawks may be without starting point guard Jeff Teague when they close out their preseason slate Thursday night against the Charlotte Bobcats at Philips Arena.

The Atlanta Hawks will close out their two game preseason slate Thursday night at Philips Arena against the Charlotte Bobcats. The game is the last open audition for several players vying for one of the final roster spots on the team. Guys like Donald Sloan, Brad Wanamaker and veteran Jerry Stackhouse are all still in an open competition as Atlanta looks to add depth to the roster.

Atlanta could be without the services of starting point guard Jeff Teague who sprained his ankle in practice on Wednesday. The severity of the injury isn't known but an official release from the team declares Teague as questionable for Thursday's game. New acquisition Jannero Pargo will likely make his debut in a Hawks uniform while Sloan and Wanamaker figure to also get time at the point guard position.

Charlotte defeated the Hawks in the preseason opener on Monday night behind 18 points from rookie Kemba Walker. 2011 first-round selection Bismack Biyombo could also make his first appearance in a Bobcats' uniform after securing his exit from his Spanish team.

Tip off from Philips Arena is scheduled for 7:30 pm. The game will be broadcast by Fox Sports Carolina but there will be no local broadcast. Fans can listen in to veteran broadcaster Steve Holman via 680 The Fan.
