Hawks Vs. Rockets: Atlanta Begins Difficult Three Game Road Trip In Houston

Joe Johnson, Jeff Teague and the rest of the Atlanta Hawks head out on the road for a difficult three game road trip that will take them from Houston and also has stops in Chicago and Miami.

After taking care of business in the first three games of the season, the Atlanta Hawks head out on the road for a difficult three game stretch that begins in Houston and ends with a road back-to-back against the East's top two teams in Chicago and Miami.

Atlanta has looked for the most part dominant albeit against lesser competition in wins over Washington and twice over New Jersey. Houston enters tonight's game with a 1-2 record. The Rockets sandwiched losses to Orlando and Memphis around a win over San Antonio. Although Saturday's game is a road game for Atlanta, the Hawks are catching the Rockets in the third game of their only back-to-back-to-back session of the season.

The point guard match-up in Saturday's game should be a good one between Houston's Kyle Lowry and Atlanta's Jeff Teague. Lowry has strung together some near triple double performances in Houston's first three games and enters tonight game averaging 17 points, 9.3 rebounds, and 6.3 assists. Teague had 22 points and six assists in Atlanta's win Friday night over New Jersey and the Hawks will need him to make things difficult for Lowry.

Houston won both meetings between the two clubs during the 2010-2011 season. Joe Johnson averaged over 27 points and seven assists per game in those two games against the Rockets
