Hawks Vs. Rockets Score: Houston Jumps Out To Early 31-22 Lead

Despite playing in their third game in as many days, the Houston Rockets wasted little time in jumping out to a lead against the Atlanta Hawks. The Rockets will take a 31-22 lead to the second quarter after leading 20-9 midway through the quarter.

This is Atanta's fourth game in five days as well and it showed early defensively. Houston connected on 8-10 shots to start the game. Marvin Williams hit his first three shots including a three to lead the Hawks with seven points. Joe Johnson has six and Josh Smith four for Atlanta.

Luis Scola leads Houston with 10 points in the early going. Kevin Martin and Chase Budinger each finished with seven. Kyle Lowry finished the first quarter scoreless but had an impact with six assists.
