NBA Free Agency 2011: Earl Watson To Sign With The Atlanta Hawks, According To Source

The Atlanta Hawks have been quite active since the free-agent window opened up, as a sign-and-trade deal with Jamal Crawford is possibly in the works. Tracy McGrady has agreed to a one-year deal to sign with the club, and with Kirk Hinrich looking to be out with a shoulder injury the organization has shored up their point guard depth to start the season.

The 10-year NBA veteran was serving as a reserve for the Utah Jazz last season, as the point guard from UCLA averaged 4.3 points/game and 3.5 assists/game in about 20 minutes worth of action. Watson is a proficient distributor and a sound defender.
