Bieber Fever invaded the Staples Center for the All-Star Game on Sunday night.
Dwight Howard gave the tween icon a shoutout courtside, heckling the MVP of the 2011 NBA Celebrity Game during a time out while Al Horford was onto better pursuits -- allegedly oogling the beautiful Keri Hilson.
TNT cut to the 16-year old Canadian resident who lives in Atlanta, wears New Orleans Hornets colors to Atlanta Hawks games and roots for Kobe Bryant and the Los Angeles Lakers. Beiber admitted to TNT's Craig Sager that despite his own eight point performance, Scottie Pippen deserved the MVP honor in the game.
"I really think that Pippen should have gotten the MVP," Bieber. "But it was a fan vote and my fans are crazy."
I'm sure Bieber didn't quite mean crazy as in insane -- more like crazy as in crazy enthusiastic.
Of course the tween pop icon went on to backtrack a bit and call his fans wonderful after telling a little anecdote about how one of them blocked his car from leaving whatever place he was at one time or another. Hmmm. That sounds kinda crazy if you ask me.
