Lakers Vs. Hawks: Kobe Bryant, Lakers Shooting Lights Out, Lead Hawks 28-15 Through One

The Los Angeles Lakers are hitting shots all over the floor. The Atlanta Hawks? Well, they look like they are still on the All-Star Break.

Kobe Byrant and Derek Fisher have six points each, leading the Lakers to a 28-15 lead through 12 minutes at the Staples Center.

Al Horford has six points and Joe Johnson has four for Atlanta, which is shooting just 38-percent from the field.

Atlanta's strategy was to take away Los Angeles' inside game and make them shoot jumpers. The Lakers had no problem doing that, draining shots and going inside, too.

Los Angeles shot almost 70-percent in the first quarter while holding the Hawks two points off of their season low for points in the first frame. They also held Josh Smith in check. He was scoreless in the period and collected just one rebound.

The Hawks are going to have to win the transition game and take it to the Lakers if they are going to stand a chance in this one. If not, this one may have ended before it really even began.
