Kobe Bryant has 20 points and Ron Artest has 11 to post the Lakers to an 80-54 lead over the listless Atlanta Hawks on Tuesday night at the Staples Center.
Andruw Bynum has 15 boards for the Lakers, who are shooting 50-percent and hold a 37-19 edge on the glass.
The Hawks, well, they look pathetic. Even when they catch a break, they figure out a way to blow it.
Bryant was called for a rare Flagrant-1 on Josh Smith midway through the frame. So what does Josh do? Miss both free throws. Atlanta is 1-for-15 from behind the arc and 7-for-12 from the free throw line.
Joe Johnson has 14 points and Al Horford 13 for Atlanta. Smith has seven points. The other two starters -- Mike Bibby and Jason Collins are putting up a nice goose egg.
This one is over. At least they can rest the starters for Wednesday's game against the Phoenix Suns.
