Hawks At Bulls: Carlos Boozer Out, Luol Deng Questionable For Atlanta's Rematch In Chicago

The Chicago Bulls may be without two of their three top starters when they take on the Atlanta Hawks on Friday night.

The Associated Press reports that Carlos Boozer will not play for Chicago at the United Center while Luol Deng is a game-time decision.

Both players were hurt in the Bulls' win over the Charlotte Bobcats on Wednesday. Boozer sprained his left ankle when he fell hard to the floor after a violent collision with Kwame Brown. Brown was assessed a flagrant foul on the play.

Deng bruised his left thigh when Gerald Henderson banged his knee into the Chicago star.

Chicago and Atlanta are facing off for the second time in three games over a three week span. Chicago took a 14-0 lead the first time these two teams faced off last week. The Hawks trailed by as many as 23 before Al Horford lead a furious comeback, tying a career-high with 31 points in the 83-80 win.

Atlanta trailed until the last 29 seconds of the game, when Horford jammed a dunk home. The Hawks played that one without Josh Smith, who has since returned to action.
