Trail Blazers Vs. Hawks: Jeff Teague Leads Hawks To 19-18 Edge Through One

The ultra-small lineup seems to be working for the Atlanta Hawks. Jeff Teague forced three turnovers in the final 30 seconds of the quarter and converted on the other end of the floor to post Atlanta to a 19-18 lead over the Portland Trail Blazers on Saturday night at Philips Arena.

Teague connected on 4-of-5 free throws and four steals. He has scored10 of the Hawks' 19 points in the frame.

Atlanta is also getting energy from Zaza Pachulia, who started in place of the injured Al Horford. While it may not be reflected in the stats, the Atlanta center has really brought the energy to the arena and has been a menace in the post.

Nate Batum and Rudy Fernandez have five each for Portland, which is looking to avoid its second straight win.

Not only are the Hawks playing this one without Horford, they are also missing Josh Powell, who was arrested for some sort of traffic infraction prior to the game. Once we get more information on what Powell did, we'll let you know.
