↵2011 NIT Tournament (Complete NIT bracket here)
↵Charleston Cougars at Wichita St. Shockers, 7, ESPN2: This might look like a slim night of sports action, but count your blessings, fam. In just a couple months we'll have ... well, the NBA playoffs will last like five or six months. But then there's that window in which nothing but baseball happens, and if it's a bad baseball night, then you're screwed. Anyway, local interest here, as SoCon near-champ Charleston gets a chance at Madison Square Garden.
↵Miami Hurricanes at Alabama Crimson Tide, 9, ESPN2: Either the ACC or SEC will send a team to the NIT's Final Four. No Big East teams though, snark snark snark! Upon joining the NIT, all No. 1 seeds should have to sign documents stating that if they fail to reach the NIT Final Four, they'll perform a short team skit on why the NCAA selection committee was right after all. Of course they should.
↵Northwestern Wildcats at Washington St. Cougars, 11, ESPN2: Rooting for WSU, as they are very rapidly becoming a SEC school. You'd happily take them over Ole Miss in either football or basketball, wouldn't you?
↵NBA Basketball
↵Atlanta Hawks at Philadelphia 76ers, 7, SportSouth
↵Orlando Magic at New York Knicks, 8, ESPN
↵San Antonio Spurs at Denver Nuggets, 10:30, ESPN
