Cavaliers Vs. Hawks Score: Atlanta Leads 21-18 Through One Quarter

Al Horford is hitting all sorts of shots. If only the same could be said for Josh Smith or this game wouldn't even be close.

Horford has 10 points to lead the Hawks to a 21-18 lead over the Cleveland Cavaliers through one quarter at Quicken Loans Arena.

Josh Smith has taken too many bad shots. He's 1-for-7 from the field. He does have seven rebounds and three assists through the first 12 minutes of action.

The Hawks took an early lead, scoring the game's first eight points before the Cavs finally woke up. Most of the effort has come from the Cleveland bench, which had 10 of the Cavs' 18 points in the quarter.

Baron Davis lead the charge with six points for Cleveland. Alonzo Gee also had six points for the struggling Cavs, who have dropped seven of their last eight games at home.

Atlanta needs to pound the ball inside more to establish a lead and stomp down on Cleveland.
