So John Wall was ejected for swinging on Zydrunas Ilgauskas in last night's Washington Wizards game against the Miami Heat. SB Nation DC has the video, for those who haven't seen it yet. Wall's absence in the front court freed up even more minutes than usual for departed Atlanta Hawks No. 1 pick Jordan Crawford, who poured in 39 points and four assists.
↵In case you're wondering, his career high before being dealt by the Hawks last month was 11. He's averaged 18.2 per game in March, getting 34.2 minutes per game.
↵While there are simply going to be more minutes to go around in a weak Wizards rotation, it's frustrating to see a talented scorer handed away so early in his career. Peachtree Hoops hopes this isn't a sign of what's to come for Jeff Teague, another barely-used guard who's shown promise when allowed off Larry Drew's leash.
