LeBron James is back and scoring again at will. That doesn't bode well for the Atlanta Hawks.
James has 12 points and five rebounds through one quarter to stake the Miami Heat to a 28-23 lead at Philips Arena.
Former Hawks guard Mike Bibby is getting into the act too, posting six-points, including a 3-pointer, for the Best Team Ever* (to finish behind the Chicago Bulls).
The Hawks are having trouble defending a Miami team that shot 61-percent (11-for-18) from the field in the first 12 minutes of the basketball game.
More disturbingly, Atlanta is having difficulty on the glass once again. The Heat holds a 13-9 edge on the glass.
Al Horford has five points and Marvin Williams, Jamal Crawford and Zaza Pachulia posted four each for Atlanta, which shot 40-percent (10-for-25) from the field.
Josh Smith returned to action after missing the last couple of games for the Hawks, but posted just two points. He sat for most of the first quarter in foul trouble.
