Heat At Hawks Score: Atlanta Trails 79-67 Through Three

The Atlanta Hawks used a 10-3 run to close the gap against the Miami Heat. They still trailed by 12 through three quarters. That gives you an idea of just how not right things are going in Atlanta.

LeBron James is flirting with a triple double, posting 24 points, seven rebounds and six assists and Dwyane Wade added 21 to give the Heat a 79-67 lead through three quarters at Philips Arena.

Chris Bosh added 15 points for Miami, which is shooting 56-percent (32-for-57) from the field.

A little side-show is also developing at the arena tonight as former Hawk Mike Bibby is winning the battle against the guy who replaced him. Bibby has 10 points in this one. He has slashed by his replacement Kirk Hinrich a few times tonight, while Hinrich has struggled from the field.

The former Washington Wizards and Chicago Bulls point 0-for-6 from the field through three quarters.

Josh Smith had a great third quarter and leads all Hawks with 17 points. Marvin Williams has 11 points and Joe Johnson 10 for Atlanta, which closed the battle of the boards to 33-26 through the first 36 minutes of the basketball game.
