Hawks-Magic Game 6 Scheduled For 7:30 p.m. Tip On Thursday On SportSouth/NBA TV

At least the start time has been consistent. Even if the Atlanta Hawks-Orlando Magic series continues to get the good ole snub from big-time national TV.

Shortly after the Hawks were embarrassed in their 101-76 Game 5 loss to the Magic on Tuesday, the NBA released the schedule for Game 6 on Thursday. And Game 6 will be played at the same time as Game 5: 7:30 p.m. The networks covering the game will be the same: SportSouth locally and NBA TV nationally.

Let's just hope that the result will not be the same and that there won't be a Game 7 in the land of Mickey Mouse.

Once again, Atlanta-Orlando series is the bridesmaid of the night. This time, the series is directly getting passed over for Game 6 of the New Orleans Hornets-Los Angeles Lakers series, which tips off at 8:00 p.m. on TNT. This comes as no surprise in a league that's still all Kobe Bryant all the time.

The Lake show won Game 5 in La-la land to take a 3-2 lead and can clinch the series in the Big Easy on Thursday.

Also getting the TNT love is the Dallas Mavericks-Portland Trail Blazers set, which tips off from the Rose Garden at 10:30 p.m. Dallas leads that series 3-2 and can close it out in Oregon on Thursday.
