Wake Forest Sexual Assault Story Scheduled To Air On NBC's Today Show At 7:45 AM ET

The Wake Forest Demon Deacons basketball scandal, which reportedly involves a former WFU student accusing two former hoops players of an alleged March 2009 sexual assault, is supposed to air on NBC's The Today Show right around 7:45 am ET on Thursday, May 19. The show posts video of all its stories daily at Today.com, in case you miss it.

The show itself runs from 7 am until 11 am, so be glad they've narrowed down the time frame quite a bit, if you don't happen to be a regular viewer.

Watching the report won't be easy for Wake Forest students and fans, and Atlanta Hawks fans aren't expecting anything pleasant either. Hawks point guard Jeff Teague is reportedly named as a participant in the alleged sexual assault, though he wasn't accused of any crime and all charges against his teammate, Gary Clark, were dropped at the time of the incident.
