Wake Forest Basketball Players Could Sue Over Today Show Sexual Assault Allegations

Depending on what's alleged during Thursday's Today Show segment in which a former Wake Forest student will reportedly accuse two former Wake Forest Demon Deacons players of involvement in a March 2009 sexual assault, the two players could sue, according to lawyer Mike Grace

Atlanta Hawks point guard Jeff Teague is reportedly one of the players, though he's going to be accused of standing outside a door while teammate Gary Clark coerced a female student into oral sex. Charges against Clark were dropped; charges against Teague were never raised in the first place.

One controversy that's surrounded the story has been the level of attention given to the allegations by the school. The players' lawyer said Wake Forest was very thorough in investigating the claims, while Kathy Redmond of the National Coalition Against Violent Athletes says university officials told the female student she should not file a police report.
