The Chicago Bulls aren't without an injury issue or two of their own, though they're not quite as depleted as the Atlanta Hawks are, who might be without Kirk Hinrich for the entire series. Carlos Boozer's turf toe injury caused the big power forward to miss his third straight practice on Sunday, though Chicago is confident he'll play in Monday's Game 1.
He may need to come off the bench, however; Kurt Thomas has been practicing with the starting five as of late. The Bulls have plenty of defensive options to throw at Al Horford and Josh Smith, with Joakim Noah and Taj Gibson also in the mix.
Boozer hurt his right foot during the end of the Bulls-Pacers series. He missed one of the season series' Chicago jaunts, but played 33 minutes in the Atlanta comeback win keyed by perhaps the best game of Horford's career. The Bulls rolled in his other season series appearance.
