VIDEO: Derrick Rose Re-Injures Left Ankle As Game 1 Buzzer Sounds

Derrick Rose quite lit'rally couldn't have re-injured his left ankle at a worse time, for the Chicago Bulls at least. The soon-to-be NBA MVP stepped on Jamal Crawford's foot as time ran out in the Atlanta Hawks Game 1 victory, pulling up lame and lingering at mid-court as Hawks players celebrated. Video, via @BlazersEdge:

Teammates gathered, the United Center crowd lingered in silence ... I've never quite seen anything like that. The best player in the league hurting himself pretty much right when a game ends?

No word yet on how serious the injury is. TNT reports David Aldridge is on the case. Rose has suffered from a left ankle sprain for a while now, needing to wear a walking boot and undergo a MRI as recently as a week ago. If Rose has to miss any game time, the complexion of this series changes dramatically.
