As expected, Derrick Rose was able to get in a complete workout at Chicago Bulls practice Tuesday, according to a tweet by the Chicago Tribune's K.C. Johnson. His right ankle, which he injured in the final seconds of Game 1 against the Atlanta Hawks, doesn't have any swelling, perhaps due to the mysterious apparatus he alluded to Monday night.
Can Jeff Teague hold his own against the NBA MVP in Game 2 Wednesday night, as he did in Game 1? Or was Game 1 just a fluke? We'll soon find out!
As long as Rose isn't looking ahead to his Friday night MVP party at Atlanta's Primal, expect a full-hearted performance from the Chicago point guard. Would be pretty, pretty awesome for Rose to be partying in Atlanta with Bulls down 2-1, though.
