Hawks Vs. Bulls Games 5 and 6 TV Schedule Update: Atlanta-Chicago Series Ready For Prime Time

The playoff television picture for the Atlanta Hawks became a little bit clearer on Sunday night after the Los Angeles Lakers were unceremoniously swept out of the postseason by the Dallas Mavericks.

As a result, Atlanta's series against the Chicago Bulls will be the only basketball game running on Tuesday and Thursday nights, and as a result, will be smack dab at the beginning of "prime time."

Tuesday's Game 5 matchup at the United Center will be played at 8 p.m. Eastern time on TNT. Those with tickets for Game 6 at Philips Arena in Atlanta can also expect an 8 p.m. Eastern tip for what will be an elimination game for either the Hawks or the Bulls. That game will be on ESPN. Both games will be broadcast on flagship station 97.9 FM and the rest of the Hawks Radio Network.

The only game time that's not determined as of yet is that of the still if-necessary Game 7 in the Windy City. The tipoff time of Sunday's still starred game will depend on whether the series between the Oklahoma City Thunder and the Memphis Grizzlies goes the distance. That game is scheduled to be on TNT.
