Lynx Vs. Dream Score: Lindsay Whalen Leads Minnesota To 43-31 Halftime Lead

The Lynx outscored the Atlanta Dream 26-10 in the opening quarter and lead 43-31 at halftime. Atlanta just returned home from a three game road trip and are looking for their first win of the season at Philips Arena. The Dream has struggled offensively hitting on just 25 percent of their shots in the first half.

Lindsay Whalen leads the way for the Lynx with a game-high 11 points. Seimone Augustus has seven points and Maya Moore has five for Minnesota.

Angel McCoughtry has nine points to lead the way for Atlanta but is just 2-12 from the floor. Erika De Souza has eight points and nine rebounds but picked up her third foul just before halftime. Coco Miller came off the bench to give Atlanta a lift with seven points.

The Dream were able to cut into the Minnesota lead during the second quarter thanks in large part to their defense which picked up considerably from their performance in the first quarter.
