NBA Lockout 2011: And This Is How Looks Now

As we'd expected, has transitioned to post-NBA lockout mode, and my is it grim. Gone are player sidebar images and stories about all players -- even minicamp invitees who don't have contracts -- and the centerpiece is a big black flag with the words LABOR CENTRAL. You can pretty much hear "Taps."

Here, take a look:

To Atlanta's credit, its site puts the labor stuff dead front and center, ahead of even the dance team. From what we know of our Hawks, it takes a whole lot to put anything ahead of the dance team. Look around at some other team sites -- a lot of them don't even have a word about the lockout on their home pages. Even though that Labor Central link tells the league's side of the story, it's better than pretending nothing is going on.

And just for our friends who'd prefer not to click back to the previous edition, here's how it looked just hours ago:

Stay tuned to SB Nation's StoryStream for more NBA lockout news, updates and explanations.
