Sky Vs. Dream Score: Atlanta And Chicago Locked Up 33-33 At Halftime

The Atlanta Dream find themselves in a 33-33 tie with the Chicago Sky at halftime. The Dream got off to a fast start building an early 20-5 advantage only to see Chicago answer back in the second with a big run of their own. The recipe for success for Atlanta has been to run and push the pace which they were able to do early.

Chicago got back into the game by pounding Atlanta on the offensive glass. Once they forced the Dream into a much slower pace, they were able to dig in with one of the WNBA's stingiest defenses.

Angel McCoughtry and Lindsey Harding each have eight points for the Dream. Erika de Souza has four points and five rebounds while Alison Bales has four points, three rebounds, and four blocks.

Sylvia Fowles got off to a slow start but more than established herself in the second quarter. Fowles finished the half with nine points and six blocks for the Sky. Epiphanny Prince, Michelle Snow, and Erin Thorn all finished with five points each.

Atlanta has to be a little uncomfortable with the score tied at the half as they ended up shooting 46 percent from the field while holding Chicago to just 34 percent. The Sky has a big advantage on the offensive glass with 11 offensive rebounds already and that is what enabled them to get back in the game.

Coco Miller has not appeared in the first half and appears to be sitting this game out with some sort of undisclosed injury.
