WNBA All-Star Game 2011 Final Score: Marynell Meadors Led East Squad Defeats West 118-113

Katie Douglas' three pointer with 56 seconds remaining put the Eastern Conference All-Stars up for good as they went on to defeat the Western Conference by a score of 118-113. The match up was an entertaining affair that did an excellent job showcasing what the WNBA has to offer in its 15th year of existence.

Cappie Pondexter led the Eastern Conference with 17 points and seven assists. Katie Douglas and Tina Charles each finished with 15. Essence Carson and Renee Montgomery also finished in double figures with 13 and 12 points respectively.

Atlanta's Angel McCoughtry finished with eight points and 10 rebounds and perhaps the biggest highlight of the game. While on a fast break, McCoughtry flipped a pass to herself off of the backboard that she tapped in while bringing the San Antonio crowd to its feet.

Swin Cash led all scorers in the game with 21 points and 12 rebounds. Her double double effort earned her the MVP award for this year's game. Rebekkah Brunson finished with 20 points and nine rebounds. Diana Taurasi and Liz Cambage each finished with 13. Taurasi also led the West with seven assists.

The WNBA season returns to action on Tuesday. The Atlanta Dream are currently riding a three game winning streak and travel to Tulsa on Tuesday for a match up with the Shock.
